We sailed her in November of 2011...I thought she was great...we had a the best time on my birthday in Grand Caymen! After awhile all the ships and their décor start to blend together...I think back then it wasn't updated and not sure if it is now but out of all the ships LIBERTY has the most updated/elegant décor.

First time on carnival what can I expect. Anyone sailed on Legend before.

Are there much organized activities if what are they.

We spent 13 wonderful, glorious, magnificent days on Legend back is August. She is part of the Spirit class, my favorite class of ships, which also includes Spirit, Miracle, and Pride.

Every night at turn-down you'll get a copy of the Fun Times that lists everything that is going on the next day. You'll find all kinds of activities. We played trivia games, spent a lot of times in the Red Frog Pub, saw comedians in the Punchliner Club. There is also mini-golf and water slides. There will be live bands playing music as well as a piano bar.

If you are sailing with people over 21, the whole aft (back) deck is Serenity, which is open to 21+ only.

We loved Legend and are sailing her again next year.

Enjoy your cruise.

Hi,

My family and I have sailed the Legend twice. She was our first and we loved her so much that we had to sail her again before she moved to Australia. She is our favorite out of the 5 ships we have sailed so far. Her crew (at least both times we have sailed her) were awesome. She is a beautiful ship and very easy to navigate.

She underwent a recent dry dock and has a few upgraded features like Red Frog Pub (but no food like some ships have); Taste Bar; Sushi Bar and our favorite the Green Thunder Slide! It is a trap door slide with a nearly vertical drop. Fast, Furious and Fun out of this world.

Now I will say that she is showing some wear with her age, despite the recent dry dock, there are frayed carpets about, worn seats in the theater/lounge, and our cabin had a broken lamp. However, I understand that she gets thousands of passengers so some wear and tear is to be expected. Also, none of the wear was really bad, just mild.

She also has a serenity deck, as another poster mentioned. We love the serenity deck :)

Plenty of activities, trivia, karaoke (if you like that) bingo, casino, picture scavenger hunts, kid specific activities with the kids clubs. Production shows, comedy shoes, open deck parties and contests etc, etc...

The Fun Times and the in cabin TV are your resources for what's happening when and where.

Any specific questions please ask. Enjoy the Legend!:D

Sailed the Legend in July 2014 (Western Caribbean-Cozumel, Belize, Mahogany Bay and Grand Cayman). Just booked her for July 2015 to Alaska.

Traveled with two teenagers and a seven year-old. Serenity Deck was great for adult time. Plenty of activities to spend your time enjoying. We had a balcony and I liked reading and relaxing there in private.
