Boarding Time for Costa Mediterranea

We are booked on the Mediterranea for 1-2-15 and I see that the ship departs at 11PM. What time can we board the ship?

Thanks for the information. This is my first Costa cruise and I just booked a guarantee room that has not been assigned nor do I have an e-ticket. I thought there might be some rule of thumb.

Your sailing is 1.2.15, is that 1st. Feb or 2nd. Jan?

 

You should get your e-tickets about 3 weeks before sailing. I got mine yesterday for a 16th. Jan sailing.

My sailing is Jan 2. I am trying to make plans for a sailing that leaves in 5 days and I have no info yet. I just booked the cruise 4 days ago.

Email them for more info, although with the holiday period you may not get an answer today. I've found the UK office to be good at responding quickly.

Keep pestering your TA or Costa (where ever you booked) until you get your questions answered.

 

You could try the Costa Rollcall forum to see if anyone is on your cruise, they might be able to help.

My sailing is 1/13/15 and our paperwork came today with 1pm for embarkation .

The 23.00 departure is to accommodate European flights. The ship can be a bit slow to clear because so many people have to go through US-VISIT (whatever they call it now) but 1 PM should be fine. Miami isn't my favourite port, I don't recommend arriving early.

Muster drill should be between first & second sitting, they may vary the times a bit. There should also be a buffet which may not be in the programme.
