Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Hotel?

Has anyone heard anything about the Renaissance Fort Lauderdale Hotel? Is it a good place to stay? We are looking for a hotel for one night before our cruise and haven't really heard much about this particular hotel. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Try biddingfortravel.com. I saw someone get this hotel for I think $70.00 a night through priceline. They also have a good review section.

Try the Radisson at the Port. They will shuttle you for free to the pier and you can park for free.

I stayed there a few weeks back before my cruise. It is a nice hotel, expensive. They do not have a shuttle to get to the port but it only cost me $6.50 to get there. So if there is more than one, it would work out the same as some hotels that offer a per person $3 rate. The beds are so comfortable but it is not on the beach. The jacuzzi was out of order when we got there. Ask for a high floor so you can see some of the boats come in and out.
