This is my first time on RC. I was wondering if the MDR is open on embarkation day? I know on carnival and NCL it's open but the Buffett is encouraged. Thanks

Royal's MDR is usually not open for lunch to all guests on embarkation day. You may see a small number of guests eating lunch for some special event, like back to back guests.

 

EDIT: Just to clarify, the MDR is open for dinner on embarkation day.
