Island Princess, covered balconies

Recommended Posts

This will be our first cruise with Princess. Just signing up for Island Princess, LA to Hawaii.

I have a question, looking at suite D607, does anyone know if those are covered or private balconies? Any information on the Island Princess will be appreciated.

Thanks

Barb in AZ:)

What about Caribe Deck? We're not going until Jan 2007. Going to Caribbean in Jan 2006. Just planning ahead
Most, but not all, Caribe deck balconies are half-covered, half-uncovered. The larger balconies on Caribe are double-sized which means that they're large enough for loungers, a couple of chairs and a table. The Caribe deck balconies are preferred by many and you'll pay a premium for the larger balcony.

Not all of the suites on the Dolphin deck are exposed. We are booked in D707 on the Island to Alaska. There are some threads in the cabin selection folder that have details about Coral/Island balconies. You may want to go over there and check them out....
