Need info sailed Disney before, never Christmas week

What holiday things, events and other stuff

Do they do for holidays?

Were sailed on Christmas eve in 2003 and had a great time. My two kids are teens but they still enjoyed seeing everything on display for the holiday season. To make it more homey, we bought a small two foot Christmas tree from Walmart along with tiny decorations and put it on the counter in the cabin upon arrival. Santa came while we were at sea and the kids had a few small presents waiting for them when they woke up.

The decorations on the ship were magnificient as only Disney could do. Christmas eve, the staff had a carol sing and someone reading Christmas stories to the kids. On Christmas morning, Santa sat in a chair in front of the huge tree and met with all the kids and handed out presents. There were tables set up in various locations with cookies, dates, candies, cider etc. The restaurants all had special menus for the dinner that evening.
