Kind of Off Topic--Airborne

People are all sneezing,coughing etc in my office, I feel like I;m starting to get it. Anyone here ever use Airborne? Does it work?

 

I really don't want to get sick....

I have used it and I think it works great. Just take it before you go to the office,or if you feel you are coming down with something:D

I used it all last winter and never got a single cold, despite the fact several made the rounds in our office. You do have to use it right at the first sign of a cold for it to be most effective.

What is it and what's it suppose to do? I get a cold easily and they last about ten days. Last year I tried a nasal product called Zicam. It knock out the cold in three days each time so I was happy. Again, you must start using it at the first sign of a cold or it doesn't do the job.

Tried airbourne last winter works great - also a good precaution if you are getting on to a plane. Cheapest place to buy it - Walmart...

I work for a company that sells supplements and we can hardly keep it in stock if that is any indication. Also the feedback that I have gotten is very positive I have not had anyone that is unhappy with it yet. I am going on a cruise in November and have already bought mine so that I know I will have it.:)

I've used Airborne (because it was all I could find one time) and also the Sucrets Soothers, which have similar ingredients. Both seemed to be helpful; I say "seemed" to be because for all I know the psychological effect was what helped the most.

 

BTW, the nasal spray form of Zicam has been shown to cause permanent loss of smell in some people (not all certainly). This is not an urban legend or anecdotal; there has been documented evidence. Apparantly, the nasal swabs do not cause the loss of smell. I'm guessing (just a WAG as I have no idea if it's correct) that it's because you swab it only on the outer part of your nasal passage and the spray goes all the way in.

I am one of those persons who if I get on a plane I get a cold - I have used Zycam frequently as a method to prevent airborn germs - works perfectly as does airbourne and no loss of smell.

 

We're going on a 10-day in October and have already bought Airbourne for each of the 9 members of our group - why take chances when there is help available.

Great stuff, just take as directed every 3 hrs. Tough part is trying to find it. When I see it in a store I usually pick up several.

In the winter time, if you have trouble finding it locally, try drugstore.com

 

We use it a lot in the winter, take it on all our trips, and take before any big trips. Like the orage flavor better than the lemon lime.

I have seen this product in, of all places, Trader Joe's. Based on the info here, I may just have to buy it the next time I'm there!

I was a non-believer before I tried it and now I swear by the stuff. I was definitely coming down with a cold. I followed directions and it worked like a charm.

In canada you guys can get tylonol with codine over the counter...IM SURE YOU CAN GET AIRBORNE

Worked for me a couple of times. I mix it with a little Russian tea. Helps drinking it when hot. I buy at WalMart and Walgreens. The nasty tasting throat longes work great too!
