Freedom or Navigator of the Seas Decision

HI Cruisers

We are decided and excited. Our choice is made . And the Freedom of the Seas B2B from P.C. next FEB is it. Hotels with shuttles from Orlando Airport is the next step .Looking at the Radisson Hotel as a possibility. Does any one have any other suggestions on hotels also a shuttle service. And a shuttle service back to Airport on return Thanks again for the input in the past. Keep on cruising:D.

Orlando airport is about 45 minutes from the port. I suggest you consider staying in the Cocoa Beach area. Doing a one-way car rental is convenient and not that expensive, plus it give you flexibility. There are several car rental agencies in the Cocoa Beach area that provide free shuttle service to the cruise terminal.

I second looking into two one way car rentals. That's what we did back in June, and the total was <$100 (we had a car for two days before the cruise and one day after). There were 5 of us, so that was the cost of 1 shuttle trip.

 

Also, if you haven't booked flights yet, take a look and see if Melbourne might work for you, especially on departure. It's a small airport, but you won't have to deal the crowds like you would at MCO (Orlando).

If you choose to stay in the Orlando area we were happy with the Coco Beach Shuttle for airport transfers. The time we used them they offered a small CC discount if you mentioned it during booking.

I think you would enjoy Radisson Resort at the Port. It is a really nice hotel, with a really nice pool. When you go down there, make sure to try out Kelseys Restaurant, which is next to the Radisson. Oh my god, their food is incredible IMO(and my families. =-) )
