We've been on two other Princess cruises and I don't recall having access to this spot. Looks fun tho!

Its not accessible on all ships.

This was a video of the Emerald so I guess it will be accessible to us :) Do you know if it's a "tour" type thing or just another part of ship for the general public?

In the past it used to be open quite often on the Emerald. Over the past few years we have seen it locked most of the time especially if there are wind issues. Its up to the Capt because of noise issues/wind etc. The question was asked of the Capt during a a CC M&G.

When its open its open to anyone. Lido deck all the way forward.

Just walk to the front of deck 15 inside. The door will be accessible or it will be roped off and there will be a sign up that it's closed.
