Yes, freedom does prevail on deck 17 at the fantail. I was on the Regal until 2/21 and smokers of all stripes, cigarette, pipe and cigar, we're found back there.

 

I'd read about this soot thing prior to my cruise and I found zero exhaust residue on any of the surfaces back there. I think this rumor gets traction because it's just another way to stigmatize and belittle smokers.

Please, take it from someone who experienced that soot. It was there. Maybe Princess fixed it.:rolleyes:
