Room Service Late Night Charge

Yes, it is a per-cabin charge of $3.95, between the hours of midnight and 5 am. This was implemented as a service charge (not a tip) to discourage passengers from ordering a lot of food late at night, and then not answering the door. You may tip a few dollars if you wish.

Sounds like I need to order at 11:45 and save a sandwich for late night. Dam kids falling asleep on the room service staff, lol

I think it's more likely passengers who have had too much to drink and then order and pass out. Don't be so quick to blame the kids! LOL:p

I agree with this....Years ago, we took our bartenders on a 4 day cruise after a busy holiday season. One of the young bartenders ordered room service after a long day/night of drinking. She ordered a 5 cheese pizza. Apparently she was slurring a little (or lot) as they brought 5 pizzas, all cheese :) I'll blame the policy on her!
