Travel Journal to show where you have cruised on a map

My husband and I are attempting to complete a world cruise in small segments and we would like to see how far we have got on a map.

 

I can find websites that show over land legs but cant find one that shows legs by sea.

 

Does anybody know of a website that I could use to create our sea travel journal?

You might want to try ACDSee dot com. It is a photo manager software and it has a built in map. It starts out with the world map but you can zoom way in. If you have GPS data on your camera I believe it will place the pic on the map, at minimum I know you can just drag your photos onto the map to say "here I am". Its a Google map so you should be able to calculate distances etc, It's really rather slick.
