carlissaandisaacsmommy Posted January 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2015 We currently have my parents in room 6460 on the Breeze. It's one of the L shaped rooms where their bed looks out onto the balcony. We can change them to room 7461 - aft extended balcony for not much more. Does anyone have pictures of room 7461? Should we change? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

serene56 Posted January 14, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) yes your parents cabin is over that lounge. they will have much more space in 7461 and the balcony will be bigger to stretch out on Compared to the on they are in now. the aft will be similar to this-- http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/4306/img0091pr.jpg compared to what they have now -- http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/cabinpics/70/org/102411391528328.JPG Edited January 14, 2015 by serene56

Zetterberg40 Posted January 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2015 My in-laws stayed in 7461 in Jan '13. It is irregular in that it does not have a sofa IIRC and the cabin itself is actually shorter that your typical balcony stateroom. Also, while sitting at the vanity, your back faces the balcony door. We had both my in-laws plus our daughters crib in there and it was pretty cramped. Subtract the crib and there could be enough room for two. Have fun, hope this helps. Sorry I don't have a pic. Rare pirate4me2 Posted January 14, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 14, 2015 We stayed in 7465 (aft extended) on the Breeze and LOVED it. We are hooked on the aft balconies now! There is enough room for a lounger, 2 regular chairs, and a table on the balcony. We had no problems with any noise in the area. I say go for it! carlissaandisaacsmommy Posted January 14, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Is there any privacy on these balconies? Does 6 stick out farther than 7 and 7 farther than 8 and 8 farther than 9 (or does that even make sense)? In other words is the person standing on their balcony on deck 8 look directly down on the balcony for deck 7? Zetterberg40 Posted January 14, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 14, 2015 Yes, the balconies are staggered by deck. On deck 7, you look down and can see anywhere from a third to half the balcony below you and likewise from above. Also, the promenade circles the entire ship, so you look down onto that as well. Sent from my iPhone using Forums People above can see down but only when you are standing at your railing. If sitting on the chair you will not be seen http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/ad141/theyoungdenise/2%2020%202010%20Carnival%20Dream%20cruise/IMG_6363.jpg Edited January 14, 2015 by serene56
