Costco vs TA prices?

I wonder why the powers that be have allowed this thread to continue? Since it is about a specific cruise seller (Costco). If there is to be a rule, I wish it was applied evenly. I'm stepping off the soapbox. Let the Flameing begin.

I understand what you're saying, and I admit to being a little hypocritical about this, since I brought that issue up earlier, complaining about folks biting the hand that feeds them (CruiseCritic.com).

Having said that, I think the thread has turned out to be extremely useful. I'd really like to see more of these price comparisons, but without mentioning the specific TA's or online agencies.

To "Lady Jag" and " LyndaBaker". To say " Costco definitely is not competitive" is speaking without knowing what you are talking about. As I posted, I priced my cruise on every online agency and website I could find and NO one could beat the price quoted by Costco at $1500 for two people for a Balcony on the Caribe deck. That included everything. I tried to beat that price for two weeks and could not. I would call that being competitve. Sure, some weeks the prices were no better that online places but that is why you have to shop. This is my first time on the CB and we are really getting excited.

Hi everyone,

I am new to message boards, and didn't realize there were rules about naming ta's and so forth. I would never have brought this up if I thought I was breaking some rule. I have enjoyed all the information I have gathered from these boards and wouldn't do anything to jeapordize my being able to access them. Can you tell me where the rules are so I don't make another mistake. Thanks. sasha'smom

Just click on "Guidelines" in the top tool bar. Then select "Advertising Guidelines"

Don't worry. If CC had a problem with your posting, it would have been pulled by now.
