18 Year Old - Comedy Club/Letter

My husband and I are planning to take my grandaughter on a cruise after her graduation - since she will be 18 do I still need a permission letter from her parents? Does it have to be notarized? Can she get into the comedy clubs. I know they have an adult one late at night, not sure I want her in there but was wondering about the age limit.

No need, she is an adult. We took our DD friend several times when she was 18 & 19. No issues at all. Yes, she can get into the adult comedy club as well.

The permission letter is for medical power of attorney. An 18 year old is considered an adult and can make those decisions on their own. Other than drinking I think an 18 year old is considered an adult while cruising.

She may want to carry some ID with her if she's going to the casino or the nightclub. Since they are 18+ (the nightclub is after a certain time), these are 2 places she may be asked.
