Specialty dining promotion and reservations

Our specialty dining reservation just opened up for our cruise and I had a couple questions.

 

1) are you not able to make lunch reservations for izumii or giovannis?

 

2) does lunch time dining go toward the 20-30% specialty dining promotion?

 

3) if we only book two in advance and then do 2 for lunch on the ship will we qualify for the promotion? or do they need booked in advance?

 

also, we have a show reservation at 815 one evening and it will not let us take a 7 pm sabor reservation. is there any way around this? it should not take more than an hour for 2 people?

I don't believe advanced lunch reservations are possible.

 

With regard to your Sabor reservation, I'd go to the restaurant as soon as you board and try to get the time you want. They hold back some slots for onboard reservations.
