Bora Bora 4x4

For anyone who has already been, I would like to know if there will be 4x4 excursions available to take where we tender in from the ship. I am trying to decide if I should sign up for the Princess 4x4 or just wait till we get there and pick one up on our own. Any suggestions or ideas?

When we were there in May 2004, Princess had all of the 4x4 reserved. I would recommend that you go ahead and book Princess to avoid being disappointed.

Thanks you that hint. I was thinking the same thing, but wanted to be sure. Did you take the 4x4 on Bora Bora, did you do morning or afternoon.

Would you recommend it.

We did the the Bora Bora 4x4 in the afternoon of the first day. Yes, it was a really good tour. It is going to be really bumpy at times when they take you up the hill to the top for the view and to see the WWII guns. The rest of the time you are on paved road. We went all the way around the island and went up to the top of the hills three times. The scenery at the top is just wonderful and the WWII guns are very interesting.
