Balcony VS Large Balcony on Breakaway

I am booked in a mini suite on deck 12 of the Breakaway. I've been hearing about the size of the balconies, and I'm wondering if we should switch to a mini suite with a large balcony on deck 8. Is there a big difference between the size of the balconies?

Here's the infamous Google Spreadsheet showing room sizes, balcony sizes, etc. I use this as a reference anytime I am booking the Breakaway (though I am not the author).

As you can see, the Large Balcony Mini-Suite is a total of 289 - 325sq. ft., with the balcony ranging between 85 - 118 sq. ft.

 

The regular Mini-Suite is 236sq. ft., with a balcony sized between 31 - 35 sq. ft.

Thanks for the spread sheet. Its a huge help. I called NCL, and I was able to switch to a Mini Suite with a large balcony.

As far as I know, the one for the Breakaway is the only one that exists. :(

I stayed in an aft balcony cabin (very large balcony) on the breakaway and it was definitely worth it. Personally I'd prefer a balcony with large balcony over a minisuite with small balcony.

The Breakaway has such small balconies..... I agree to go with an AFT Balcony. My sister in law had one and WOW , it was huge.

Thanks for all the info. I'm glad I switched...looks like the bigger balcony is almost 3x the size of a regular one.
