Transfers, Orlando to Port Canaveral?

Hi,

 

We have reserved our 4-night wedding cruise on the Fantasy in April, departing from Port Canaveral. I know it IS a little ways a way from Orlando, but my T/A told me it would be $50 round trip for transfers!

 

For just the 2 of us I'd say "Oh what the heck" and pay it. But we're going to have between 8-15 people! I can't see us spending $400-800 on transfers alone!

 

What did everyone else do? We'll all take the same mode of transportation to the ship that day. Did you rent a limo? Is there public transportation? Anything?

The reason it cost so much is because it such a long transfer I am not sure that you will be able to find anything less expensive.

I had the same delima. Everyone in our party just rented cars on their own and it was so much cheaper. The only problem we ran in to was that the fantasy leaves on a sunday and the Enterprise isn't open on Sunday's to give us a ride from the port Canaveral Drop of location to the ship. BUT, some people just left their cars at the port during the cruise and it was still cheaper.
