Valentine's Day Vow Renewal Package

Yesterday we received an email from Royal Caribbean offering a special Valentines Day Vow Renewal package for $250. I assume that everyone and anyone sailing over Valentine's Day received one of these offers. The package includes 1) vow renewal ceremony performed by the Captain; 2) framed photograph with the captain; 3) one hour reception including champagne & hors d'oeuvres; 4) champagne toast ; 5) vow renewal certificate.

 

Would love to hear an opinion / review who has ever done a vow renewal on board.

I didn't receive an email but I called the Royal Romance department (888-933-7225) after I read this post and was told the offer is available fleet wide. The package is as you described and you can bring additional guests for $50 per person. As far as I know, you can't book this on board because you have to sign and return a contract to them (via email/fax) prior to payment and boarding.

 

I don't have any experience with vow renewal at sea but I'd love to hear opinions as well!
