??? Booking question...

I booked our cruise this morning! OV-Dec 5th for 8 days.... 2 adults/1 child. Then I noticed the price for a balcony was only $100 more so I called back and they gave me a different price due to having a party of 3. I asked did taxes raise for our child with a balcony and they said no. How is it the child sails FREE but yet the price for OV to Balcony is different for a party of 2. The kicker is the numbers literally didn't add up. I copied/pasted. Are there hidden fees??? I sent an email to the cruise agent and waiting to hear back. Can someone please enlighten me. :D:D Thank you!! Has this happened to anyone else...When you actually get out your calculator the numbers don't add up....
