Same here. Turned Diamond in the middle of a 10 day Grandeur cruise. Asked and was told no. Must wait until cruise points are calculated at end of cruise. I was ok with that but thought I would try. Booked 3 more cruises on board and am now Diamond.

Watch out for random promos that give you extra points too. Last October they had a promo where you got 5 C&A points if you used ChoiceAir. The price for airfare was the same as direct so I jumped on it. That little boost allows me to hit 80 points after my March cruise, and the reciprocal status with Celebrity will be really nice for my summer cruise.
