ventura shower gel

Please can anyone tell me about the shower gel provided by P and O. on Ventura Is it ok? and is it refilled when empty? Or would we be better off taking our own with us.

From what I remember (yes it was only in December but feels so long ago now), it's the same make as the shampoo and conditioner they provide (?White Room or something like that), but its in a larger bottle on the wall in the shower. I found it OK but I take my own shower gel etc anyway. If there is something you particularly like to use, then I'd say take it with you (can you get a smaller travel size?).

 

It's never happened to me, but they will refill it when its empty, or just ask your cabin steward. I just leave behind anything left in our shower gel, as its not worth packing it and bringing it home.

Yes they are White Room productions small bottles which they replace when empty more often than not and a large bottle fixed to the wall in the shower we took 2 showers most days and some 3 the bottle still had some in when we left.

 

It's a nice enough product not to have to bother taking gel/cream with you - take another pair of shoes instead!!

If you do not wish to use the ship's products, just purchase all the required bathroom toiletries etc, duty free after security. No problems with weight of suitcase. And leave behind if flying back to the UK.
