FrogCruiser Posted August 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Can anyone explain the difference between these category of balcony cabins? The descriptions are identical and they are on some of the same levels. Is it worth the little extra money for the more expensive of these three? Thanks for any information. gatour Posted August 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 28, 2005 If they are on the same deck then usually the cabins midship (near the middle of the ship) are more desirable than those near the front or rear of the ship, so thye are generally are in more expensive category, other than that the cabins are pretty mush the same. texancruzer Posted August 29, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2005 Before we booked our first cruise, our ta explained that mid-ship has less movement (I was concerned about seasickness...I get it while still on the dock - LOL). But I used the patch and didnt have any problem (except a little dry mouth). We booked mid-ship for our upcoming cruise as well..... We like the location as it eliminates some of the immense walking that you seem to do while on the ship. I certainly didnt gain any weight on the last one !!!!!
