ok so im stumped and maybe someone can help. I called shuttle express for quote for transportation for our hotel stay at Hampton inn and suites 700 5th avenue the night before our cruise they said that if the hotel was a preferred contracter hotel it was 18.00 a person one way but since this hotel is not it is 27.00 for one person + 7.00 each additional person now im confused why a noncontracted hotel comes out cheaper than one they have a contract with we are looking at 5 people being transported. Does this make sense?

Did you look at their web site? The services and hotel list are under the airport tab.

- there's a 'downtown airporter service' that you reserve, and it will take you to your location whenever your flight arrives.

- there's also a 'scheduled hotel service' that goes to specific hotels following a fixed schedule. Most hotels are twice an hr, like 15 and 45 minutes past the hour. I think kids under 17 are free.

where are you staying? the work around is to have them drop you at whichever partner hotel is near your hotel and walk a block. This may or may not work, depending on where you're staying.

STILA town car service has the airport contract so they have all kinds of vehicles staged at the SeaTac garage. Their kiosk sign says $45 to downtown, which is probably for 2-3 people. Give them a call and see what it would cost for your group. If you use Stila, you call them from the courtesy phone at baggage claim cand the car will come down and pick you up at the curb. Actually that's true of any reserved car service or reserved taxi.

If you use Shuttle Express or the taxi line you have to schlepp your luggage to the parking garage where they are staged.
