I am trying every specialist restaurant and chef's table!! I will do seafood shack, the salad bar, Guys, for lunch, and sushi as snacks or apps. Ji Ji's, Cucina, Steakhouse, Chef's Table and MDR for dinner. Breakfast- Havana or Blue Iguana! I am a little sad to not get a great connection with my MDR wait staff but I cannot wait to try these restaurants!

I thought we couldn't get into the Havana bar until after 5PM unless you have one of the Havana cabins.

I think it's the Havana 'pool' area that is private until 5 pm? Not sure the food area/bar if off limits to everyone???

From our PVP:

The Havana Lounge (which includes El Patio, La Sala and Havana Bar) will be for the exclusive use of guests occupying the Havana staterooms until 5:00pm daily.

I'm just looking forward to a Lobster Roll. Have read about them many times, but have not yet had the pleasure. Having a Havana Cabana Cabin right around the corner from this venue might be a bad thing.........for my waistline.

I'm really excited about the food already, but then it's always a huge part of my holidays. It's pretty cheap and easy for us to get to the med (we live in Kent in the UK) so this holiday is for a proper break and I want to try everything the ship has to offer! We'll only be doing one full day off the ship and the rest will be either ship days or quick wanders to see the local area.

First up will be Chef's Table. It sounds amazing. Has anyone been to one before?

Definitely Bonsai as DS and I are sushi nuts.

We have two small boys so will be at the Cat in the Hat breakfast and will no doubt overdose on pizza.

We'll be trying all the places that are free on a lunchtime!

And we'll definitely be at the sea day brunch. Reading the menu has made my mouth water.

We're pretty big fans of American style food so this is going to be brilliant for us and a big reason we booked with Carnival. It'll be like having a European AND America holiday on one!

This will be awesome seeing as Havana prepares fresh eggs for breakfast!

My 15 year old complained yesterday that she's been craving a Guy's burger and it's driving her nuts that she can't get one. I told her she only has a little over a year and she can get her burger fix! Guess that's going to be our first stop :)

We have done the chef's table twice now, both times were amazing. I'm not a fan of the current menu so we passed on our last cruise, hoping it changes again before we sail on Vista as we'd like to do it.

Both times I have sailed with Carnival I got fresh eggs exactly how I wanted from the Omelette station. As he was grabbing me the eggs he asked how many I wanted as he could fit 3 in a pan. :D

Bummed about Havana Brekkie and Lunch being off limits...I love cuban food.
