Seasickness Patch w/Scotch on the rocks

First of all -- thank all of you who replied to my earlier post regarding my problem with seasickness (I get motion sickness on elevators and escalators!). You response and kindness was overwhelming. I can only hope all of my cruisemates on my first cruise (Alaska next week!) are 1/2 as great as all of you. Ok -- I have some patches (and a few other suggested remedies). How does alcohol and the patch mix? My doc said no alcohol of any kind (but this is Nevada and he's Mormon) but my pharmacist said it wouldn't be a major problem other than possibly making me more drowsy. Life is a tradeoff I guess. Thanks again!

My sister-in-law drank with the patch and it showed. :D One drink for her was like having three with the patch. I would think a fun drink would be OK, but scotch on the rocks is a little strong.

Be careful and do not put your fingers near your eyes after you have handled the patch.
