F-4Wife Posted February 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) I am considering a 5 day cruise to Bermuda in May on the Liberty of the Seas. Will likely be booking a balcony, and am wondering which side of the ship will have views of ocean and which side of the port activities, while docked. stevea36 Posted February 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2015 I am considering a 5 day cruise to Bermuda in May on the Liberty of the Seas. Will likely be booking a balcony, and am wondering which side of the ship will have views of ocean and which side of the port activities, while docked. There is no way of knowing which side of the ship will be "towards the pier". The position depends on many things, winds, tides, whether the crew needs to do a lifeboat drill on one side versus the other, whether there is any maintenance due to be performed, etc. Also, this is the first season for Liberty to be in Bermuda, so there is no history to go by. I've been on both sides of the ship in Bermuda, either side is good for me. Steve

Jimmers Posted February 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2015 The three times we've been there the port side of the ship was always toward the pier.
