lostatsea200 Posted February 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2015 We were not sure if GOES (global access) is up and running at YVR, It was a Tronto recently. Thanks for any information.
xlxo Posted February 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) I would say YES for at least a few years. Is Nexus the same as GOES? http://www.yvr.ca/en/navigating-yvr/customs-immigration/nexus-abc-canpass-air.aspx http://www.dhs.gov/comparison-chart Here's the airport contact info to verify... http://www.yvr.ca/en/contact.aspx Edited February 4, 2015 by xlxo
Rare martincath Posted February 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2015 (edited) If you mean the Trusted Traveler program Global Entry (where you scan your iris at a machine?) it certainly is available at YVR airport and accepts NEXUS, SENTRI and Global Entry membership. Not at Canada Place though unfortunately. Relevant web page with locations (scroll up for more info about the kiosks) Edited February 4, 2015 by martincath Added link. cruising cockroach Posted March 19, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2015 The U.S. machines are only for U.S. preclearance. Not for entry into Canada.

Yes there are US Global Entry/Nexus machines at the US CBP pre-clearance facility. YVR is a major entry point into the United States (I know that sounds wrong); with the US CBP clearing twice as many flights into the USA at YVR as they do at Seattle.
