cmukid87 Posted February 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Long story short: I have 2 rooms, both inside guarantee. One room has two people one room has 3. I booked two days ago for a May sailing. A family member now wants to go, too. Will Carnival let me add that person to one of the rooms? 2nd question. Can I replace a person in the inside room with 3 people and move the replaced person to the 2 person? Any insight will be helpful!

RWolver672 Posted February 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2015 It will depend on how many the cabin is designed to handle. If it is designated as a two person cabin, that's all you can book in it. It will also depend on what rate you booked at. ES has a lot of restrictions. Not sure if that would make a difference or not to add a person or change cabins.

americaneskimo1 Posted February 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2015 I've added a person several times. Sometimes they can be added to the existing room and sometimes we have to move. Just call and they will help you! Have fun on your trip. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
maryred Posted February 5, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2015 Most of the GTY rates have a no-change clause or charge a significant penalty to in essence cancel the existing booking(s) and start over. You really need to call to speak directly with your booking agent to find out the terms of your original booking(s) to see where they fall.
