Upcoming cruise on the Regal Princess

I'm going on an eastern Caribbean cruise in 17 days and want to know some suggestions for St. Thomas. I don't really want to pay the high fees for excursions but I want to have a worry free good time. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
