buffy24 Posted February 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Can anyone recommend a good seafood restaurant in Galveston? Prefereably something on the east side of the island (either the Strand or Seawall side is fine). We are staying at the Lost Bayou Guesthouse B&B the night before our cruise and would love to have some really great seafood.
GradUT Posted February 9, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Guido's is a Galveston institution. It gets excellent reviews on both Trip Advisor and Yelp and I have enjoyed every meal I've had there. It's located on Seawall Boulevard about 2 miles from your B&B. Galveston Cruiser Posted February 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Other great seafood restaurants are: Olympia at Pier 21 Saltwater Grill Rudy & Paco's Also, The Pelican Club - on the back side of Gaido's (3828 Ave T) is phenomenal. No longer a private club, has a limited menu that changes seasonally (4 times a year). Best happy hour on the island from 4-7 Wednesday to Saturday. All purchase their seafood locally. Tom.Terrific Posted February 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2015 The Black Pearl Oyster Bar is a "Must Do" when we're in town. We've been there enough times to make it a favorite, and they're in the Strand area. Lot's of good options in Galveston. Enjoy your cruise!
