I read somewhere that there is a website that is the same name but one is .com and one is .net.

One apparently is a scam.

One of them I emailed and never heard back, can't remember which one.

I finally went through http://www.cozumel-tours.com/ and was very pleased with their customer service (I chatted online AND on the phone with them. Their prices are good too. They are a 3rd party booking service, but get great reviews.

Yes, this site is Island Marketing, a well known tour company. I believe by contract out to independent operators in each port. Haven't used hem in Cozumel by have in a few other ports and had good experiences.
