Help with Gdansk

I am looking for a private tour in Gdansk. Any recommendations would be very helpful. I am currently looking at an excursion offered by freebookers.com but can't find anybody who has used them. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for the anticipated great advice.

Try "Tours By Locals". Google for website. Lots of local tour operators. Did not us them directly but our tour guide (working for someone else who couldn't do our tour) in 2010 was listed there. She was very good. Might be worth a try.

We normally never take ship excursions, but in Gdansk we did, due to time constraints. The ships dock in Gdynia which is about 25-30km from Gdansk and it wasn't straightforward to get there. If I remember correctly you had to take a bus and a train.

 

We enjoyed Gdansk very much and the history connected to it. It was also the cheapest port of call on our Baltic cruise.
