we are renting a boat for the day in bermuda....just don't know which area would be better to rent from. the choices are somerset area or hamilton. which area would afford more opportunities to swim from boat...sightsee...snorkel. we are going to be at the dockyards so it probably means a ferry ride to either location. any thoughts???

Somerset is just south of Dockyard (Dockyard and Somerset are in the same parish). Depending on where the boat rental company is, if they're not actually in Dockyard itself, you could be looking at a 5 minute bus ride. Ask the boat company the best way to get there, they may not be near the Somerset ferry dock.

I've never gone snorkelling on one of those tours so I couldn't tell you which one goes to better snorkelling spots.
