We are going to book the Island Princess for a cruise next year 2016 to Europe. We will book a Mini Suite but what ones have covered balcony's? Are there any that have a larger balcony? We don't want forward because we will also stay on for the TA part also.

I have tried looking at the deck plans but with all the changes on this ship not sure what cabin to book.

We have been on most of Princess ships and always book Emerald deck Aft with the covered balacony's. Just not sure what to book on the Island!

Thanks for any information you can give us.

This guide is helpful.

It does not, however, address any changes expected during Island's planned refit.

We have been on the Island Princess and had A502 Mini Suite. Great location near elevator but not too near. Loved it so much we tried to get it again for our Med. cruise this June. It was already booked so we locked in A503, same location but on the opposite side of the ship. Really looking forward to seeing the new changes on the Island Princess and for our cruise. We will post all about it when we return in July. Hope this helps!

We really did not like the corner bump out minis on Aloha deck. Heard so much noise from pool deck above early in morning when the decks were being cleaned and the chairs moved around. We love the aft area Emerald deck MI us with the bigger fully covered balconies.
