GonnaSailtoo Posted February 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2015 Anyone know the best (yet not too expensive) cruise insurance that covers you even if you cancel for any reason? I'm planning a mid-April cruise, but my friend /next door neighbor has stage four lung cancer and isn't doing too well. If she declines rapidly, I may have to put off my cruise. Any help will be appreciated!
kc320 Posted February 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2015 You might check out the policies on Insuremytrip.com...it may be hard to find something since this is a pre-existing condition...they have an online chat feature to answer questions... MerriWthr Posted February 22, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2015 You can also try travelinsured.com. They have several levels of coverage including cancel for any reason. I found them reasonably priced for to make sure I have this clause (and the pre-existing condition clause). Michelle
sailor05 Posted February 22, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 22, 2015 You probably will not find one that will allow a "cancel for any reason" unless you buy the insurance within 21 days of purchasing the trip. Otherwise they leave themselves open for abuse....

Michelle If you are a USAA member then TravelInsured offers some great discounts if you purchase through the USAA website (https://www.travelinsured.com/agency/31270). Although they keep changing their policy, USAA currently lets you join and get discounts even if you don't have a military affiliation.
