Labadee and Drink Package

Read that the beverage package can be used on Labadee.

Can anyone tell me what kind of drinks are served?

Beer? Wine? Premium drinks?

Pretty similar selection from what is on the ship. Staff from the ship provide the service. Main difference is that plastic cups are used instead of glassware. Slightly less variety of beers and specialty spirits, but still a nice selection overall. No problem finding options for classic or premium.

Our experience might've been an anomoly but they ran out of a lot of drinks (including beer!) at the bars we were close enough to walk to so we settled for some fruit punch with rum that was pretty bad. That was after lunch so maybe if you don't wait until then you'll be okay.

 

Hopefully that was a one-time situation of too many thirsty people ;)

The did seem to close the bars early. I can't recall exactly, but maybe about two hours before sailaway? Had I known, I would have gotten two drinks that last time I was at the bar. It was SO beautiful, I didn't want to get back on the ship until the very last moment!

We had a great server whom we had met on the boat, and she made sure we had drinks on the beach. Fruity drinks, beer, all good!

As for closing the bars early, I can see why,

crew has to pack up after serving all day at the beach, then get ready for serving pax when they get on board. Day is never done for the crew.
