Merion_Mom Posted February 26, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2015 With almost no exceptions (the rare ones are special holidays like New Year's Eve), the first formal night is always Night #2, regardless of the length of the cruise. On a 7 night cruise, the second formal night is always either #5 or #6, usually depending on the itinerary/port times. On the Freedom's eastern Caribbean itinerary, Night 5 is a port day, but Night 6 is a sea day, that Night 6 would be the 2nd formal night. Most of the time, lobster, which is part of the Fisherman's Platter, is served on the second formal night. Every now and then, it has been on a different night.
