Rotterdam cabin 2711

Looking to book this cabin on the Rotterdam. It is located on the main deck at the stern.

Does anyone have feedback re: vibration from engines, smoke, exhaust etc.

I have checked halfacts and have not been able to get any information on these cabins.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

We were in A6229 in Seotember and suffered no smoke or vibration. Our toilet seldom worked but the room location had no issues at all.

You might get some noise from above - the walk around deck. Likely not much

 

Having walked down the outside stairs from the Lower Prom to the Main deck, I know it is very noisy from the props right outside that cabin. Actually, very noisy, but I'm not sure how this sound transfers to the inside of the ship there.

 

The view will be partial, over the bulkhead and few pax spend any time there, so you would have very little company outside your window.

 

We experienced some rumbling vibration from the engine room/props several cabins forward from this cabin.

 

I hope someone who has been in this cabin, as opposed to in one close to this cabin, comes along and helps out!

Right but if we had no smoke I don't see how the lower decks would. Sane with vibration, it tends to get worse higher you go.

I just got off the Rotterdam and was in 2695. I had no problems with the cabin. The rest of the cruise wasn't the best though. Hope the sewerage smell doesn't come back!

Lower cabins are directly over the props.

We've been high and low several times, aft, and I know there is a big difference in what you feel and hear.
