RCI newbie question

I have just booked our first cruise on RCI for the week of Thanksgiving 2015!! We are very excited!

 

I was trying to find out if we are allowed to bring bottled water onto the ship on Embarkation day? I did a search and found conflicting info.

Technically prohibited, but usually allowed.

Do I just bring a case of water with me? I guess it wouldn't be too big of a deal if they didn't allow me, it would only be $4.

See if you can print out a luggage tag on label paper, and stick it to the case then check it. In port security, we've been asked to pour out our water.

We have taken bottled water every time in our carry on luggage. Nothing has ever been said.
