EPIC Barcelona Arrival Time

Hello,

I have the EPIC booked for 1 week Barcelona round trip in May.

I have found a flight that departs home from BCN at 10.25am. Does anyone know (based on last year) what time the ship arrives in Barcelona and what they call the first group. We are staying in the Haven so getting off first shouldn’t be an issue. I don’t want to do the easy walk off as I will have my parents with me, pulling luggage through the ship doesn’t appeal.

Thanks

Hi

I took this cruise in 2013 and took the Ncl transfer to airport

We got there at about 8:30 am

I am going again this year and booked a 10:50 am flight home

You will be there in plenty of time

Any other questions - just ask

If you are planning on using a taxi then check beforehand what other ships are in port that day.

We have done this cruise three times and twice we had no problem getting to the airport. However, last year there were about 4-5 ships in port and the taxis were very stretched. Sometimes there were gaps of 10 minutes with no taxis and in total we queued for about 2 hours.

If the port is busy then make sure you get off as soon as you possibly can.

Nice to know they do an airport transfer. Is it available for passengers who book flights themselves and if so do you book before you sail or on board ?

Thanks

You can book it onboard.

Depending on how many in your party, it can be good value (especially for solos) or extraordinarily expensive for large families.

Just about to come back and say I found the info on NCL site. You can book before you sail directly with NCL and have either one way or return, very useful.
