Terminal #2 will be doubled in size with major improvements.

New ships will be start arriving November 2015,

and by March 2016 there will 5 ships in Galveston.

Carnival Breeze

Carnival Freedom

Royal Caribbean Liberty

Disney Wonder

 

The three Carnival ships alone will carry 600,000 passengers annually.

Isnt Disney only here for the holidays leaves jan 2016? does it come back?

Galveston has an airport, they really should look at improving it to attract some kind of regional commuter.

You have a major international airport 75 miles away and a decent size airport 30 miles away. There is NO chance of this happening. United had a major hissy fit when Southwest wanted to start flights to Mexico form Hobby.

I was in a hurry with all the political crap going in Galveston.

I didn't do my homework.

There will be 5 ships in Galveston.
