Atlantis in January?

Has anyone here ever done the water slides in January? My dh and I are going with 2 other couples on the January 16 Sovereign. We would like to do the Atlantis and water slides, but weren't sure about the temperatures that time of year.

Temps that time of year are very hard to predict. It can be 80's and gorgeous, but if a front comes down it can be in the 60's and quite chilly.

Are the pools heated?

I think I read here on the boards that the pools are NOT heated. That is what is holding me back on reserving a room at the Comfort Suites for our trip there in December.

We were there in January of this past year, mid to late and the kids went in the ocean but it was rough and windy. Like they said, one day was sunny and warmish and the next would be grey and chilly.
