Not off the LOS, but I did read that the issue was fixed. And let me just say how jealous I am of your April itinerary. Hope you brought the stretch pants :)

Yes, see the thread on this issue, right now it's near the top of the page, as I just posted to it. Engines were repaired in FLL a week ago, and then on the trip to Cozumel. Ship maintained full speed required to make itinerary, so all is good. I can't say that all engines are operational, as they don't need more than 5 of 6 anyway.

Not sure what one has to do with the other. Explorer is seven years older than Liberty, and a different design. Best go look at reviews of Liberty or roll calls to get current condition.
