Dawn - SJ - Divider

I see there is a divider/partician. Can anyone tell me if this helps with soundproofing?? We have 1 that snores - and am still debating an SJ or 2 cabins ?? The person that snores would sleep on the murphy bed. Thanks for any help.

Not sure which SJ you were in but mine had what I would consider a divider not a curtain. This link http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1536165 provides some pictures (not mine). You can see the divider, that rolls on a track, to the left of the couch. However you are correct that that the OP should bring ear plugs as it does not completely section off the room and offers no noise blocking properties.

Ear plugs! Divider is not sound barrier and from bed to Murphy bed is only a curtain not a pull out from wall divider that is between the sofa bed and the "real" bed
