No More Souvenir Cups?

I was on the February 21st sailing of the Explorer of the Seas. I had high hopes of snagging one of these.

 

 

But I didn't see any, as a matter of fact I did not see any souvenir cups. One day they were selling the ones that light up on the bottom that contained Lava Flows for $12. Very few were being sold.

 

I asked a couple of bartenders and no one really gave me an answer. One said that the light up ones was all they had. One said they thought they said that they saw some white ones in storage some place. I never saw any of the glass ones or even the tall plastic ones that came with the drink of the day.

 

Anybody have any insight on this I may not have heard about.

Six days from now the Explorer will leave Port Canaveral, deadheading to Cadiz, Spain for a six week dry dock & refurbishment.

 

Perhaps they are just not re-stocking.

This. They were running out of certain wines by the end of the 2/26 sailing, I have no doubt they just weren't bringing on non-essentials for the past few sailings.
