Premium Drink Package Question

We are sailing on the Divina and are considering the premium Allegrisimo drink package. Does that include all of the drinks marked with a red asterisk, specifically Johnny Walker Blue? We can't seem to get a solid answer from MSC.

Yes - the asterisk denotes that the items aren't available on the basic or 'classic' package. Unlike other cruiselines, everything on the bar menus is covered by the premium (except bottles of wine, champagne, etc). My favourite from the top shelf is the XO brandy!

We are on the 4/22 Divina 4 night sailing. I'm confused with the drink package options. Is the premium Allegrisimo drink package available on all cruises? Do the bartenders make good drinks? What is a good bar for martinis? Can you upgrade your wine choices like on Celebrity by paying a supplement? Do they serve drinks in the theatre?

We're on this sailing as well Miami and yes,,,the Allegrissimo all inclusive is available for this sailing at a price of $244.00 if you reserve it on-line. Speaking from our prior experiences,,all of the bartenders we have encountered free pour our drinks,,so yes,,,the drinks are very good!!!! We're not big martini drinkers,,,but Divina does offer a good variety of martini's. http://www.cruisewithgambee.com/msc-cruises-divina-drink-lists/

Scroll to the bottom for the martini menu's. No drinks are served in the theatre,,,but the rule of no drinks in the theatre is a little relaxed if you happen to wonder in with a cocktail in hand.

Thanks for the link. This is really helpful. We've just booked our first MSC cruise for this coming December as fancied a change from Celebrity /RCI and the price was really good for a weeks' cruise. At the moment we can only book the classic package but ideally would like the premium one but it's not available they say yet.

My question is, on your link, are all the drinks without an asterisk available on the classic package? i.e we do like our cocktails each evening and if all of those without the asterisk are included we could settle with the classic package. Although I believe the premium comes with additional items such as the gelato.

Yes, all the drinks without the asterisk are available on the classic package - as well as others like the cocktail of the day. In every bar around the ship and on deck this drink menu is available - there are bars in the buffet cafeteria as well so you can get your specialty coffees and teas there as well as bottled fruit juices etc. with breakfast.

That's great and thanks. Seems the majority of the drinks are included in the classic package which is fantastic as we're used to Celebrity's packages and always end up upgrading to the premium as some of our favs weren't covered. MSC classic package seems very comprehensive and would suit us well.
