Zoo on your own---questions

Have seen several posts on this, but have a couple of questions. 1]How much is the taxi from the tender dock to the zoo? 2]How much is the zoo entry fee? 3]Has anyone on the boards been to the Tropical Education center adjacent to the zoo for hikes on the Savannah trail?

Zoo fee is $8 US dollars, distance to zoo is about 29 miles but for rates I do not know, sorry.
