buggins0402 Posted March 16, 2015 #26 Share Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) Quote I passed on the last one I saw because DH had a medical issue that could have made travel impossible. (Note: if a Dr. ever tries to prescribe Lamisil, consider that it might cure your toenail fungus by putting you 10 feet under:eek:) But, things have turned signicantly better for him in the past week, that the trip seems to be a go. Unquote Oh my! So sorry to hear about the awful health issue confronting your DH. I think you both deserve a nice long vacation, especially after the aborted Insignia cruise in December! Jilll Thanks Jill, it's been a very rough six weeks...but things are looking up...so much so, that we're planning our future adventures! And, ready to go on the trips we already had planned! I assume you're actually speaking about the oral version of Lamisil. Yes, heavy duty stuff that requires liver function tests. The only time my doctor tried to prescribe it, I passed. The only time my doctor tried to prescribe it, I passed. Yes - oral version. Nasty stuff, good thing you passed on it. It's way too "nuclear" in relation to the medical issue, as we have since found out.
jertom Posted March 19, 2015 Author #30 Share Posted March 19, 2015 Thanks to all the helpful comments. I think I am: Terminal. Not alone. Never going back. Prepared to do foolish things if necessary to feed the habit. This might include any or all of these: Repeating a cruise taken before. Staying on a ship for the entire cruise. Booking a cruise on a ship or cruise line we don't like. Booking an itinerary we don't like. Booking a cabin we don't like. Booking a cruise at the wrong time of year. An addiction can be liberating ! Tom
